Fees

  • Meeting together is free!
  • I serve as the wedding minister Officiant.
  • The fee for this service officiating is $350. The Rehearsal would be extra but 99% of the couples find they don’t need one.
  • A non-refundable deposit reserves your date and time and the
    Deposit applies towards the fee. The deposit is half the fee and applies to the total. The other half of the fee is due the wedding weekend.
  • Rehearsing (if you would like a rehearsal)

How do I change my name?

Your new name is whatever you put down on your marriage license. On
your wedding day, your name changes, but you don't get proof of it till
about a month later. On the wedding day, I'll make sure everyone involved signs the license, and then I'll send it off to the county to be stamped and certified. About a month after your wedding day, you receive your stamped and certified marriage license back from the county. This stamped and certified marriage license is the proof you show that your name has been changed.

When you get your stamped and certified marriage license back in the
mail, go to the DMV in person with the license (not a photocopy) and apply for your new driver's license.

Pre-marital Counseling

If you would like suggestions or advice for pre-marital counseling, I am quite willing, as a Licensed Psychotherapist to provide pre-marital counseling.

The rehearsal
A rehearsal is wonderful idea but usually not necessary. It would
Require an additional fee. I am glad to do it if you so choose.

Ceremony sites
You can choose any site you like for your wedding, indoors or outdoors. You can also look at Wedding Sites on my web site for some suggestions.

Wedding music
You may use any music (or none) in your ceremony and I will coordinate
with the musicians or DJ to make sure everything runs smoothly. You can also look at Wedding Music on my web site for some suggestions.

What time will you arrive?
I will arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony.
